Home Front Episode 3
The Bitch is Back
Getting a groove going, the routine began to form. Write the show on Tuesday into Wednesday, setup shoot schedule for Thurs-Saturday, put together and create the show on Sunday-Monday, repeat.
This was the schedule for the next 10 weeks or so. Shooting wherever we could, with whoever was available. Like everything else, I took this very seriously. Couldn't make it to set? It became a phone call. Poor Clarice, three strikes and you're out. I had a schedule to keep. She couldn't make the location shots, so we she wound up at the bottom of the steps at 440 Bleecker. Sorry Clarice, probably long overdue, but, when you're scheduling 25 people for an unviewed soap opera, there's no room for outside interests or responsibilities.
Sad thing is, I joke now, back then, I thought I was producing a show for NBC, the Nagahama Broadcast Company. Here's episode 3.
